Tech giant Apple has announced the release of its new Airpods Pro with noise cancellation, water-resistance, and new touch functionality.
The earbuds are to cost $250 which makes them almost $100 more pricey than the previous Apple Airpods.
Here are some features that make them better than their predecessors:
- A refined design: The earbuds have shorter stems and rubber tips that'll make them fit comfortably in your ears.
- They have touch functionality: According to Apple, with the new touch functionality called a 'force sensor', users will be able to hang up calls, play, pause or skip songs.
- Active noise cancellation: Apple says that their new headphones will not just be able to block outside noise but consistently adapt to the sound signal 200 times per second.
- They are water-resistant: The new headphones are resistant to sweat and water and have an IPX4 under IEC standard 60529 ratings.
Apple has been facing a lot of competition in the earbud market which it previously owned entirely to itself. Big names like Amazon and Microsoft launched their earbuds earlier this year giving a tough time to Apple. Will the new Apple Airpods Pro be able to make it big? We are yet to find out.
The Airpods Pro are scheduled to be released on October 30, but you can preorder them from Apple's website.
