The fact is, though, that some cities dominate professional sports more than others. Most people have probably never thought about how an NFL team might compare to an MLB or NHL team in terms of win percentage, but we have!

This chart from TopViewNYC.com illustrates a few sports statistics that might surprise even the most die-hard sports fan. For example, did you know that the New England Patriots NFL team is the most dominant out of four professional sports (NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB) over the last decade? They have an astonishing 76.88 win percentage between 2008 and 2017. That’s more than the NY Yankees, The San Antonio Spurs, and the Boston Bruins. Taken as a whole, The Greater Boston Metro area has 56.35% win percentage, when taking into account all of the pro sports teams that play there.
