Technology retailers have been struggle in recent years as sales shift online. But one chain has managed to hold on to strong sales, despite a minimal number of stores nationwide. The Apples store makes 5 times the sales from one-fifth the number of stores as Best Buy. And with only 270 locations, manages to outsell Best Buy, AT&T, and Verizon.

What makes the Apples store so unique? It’s customer service model, based on hospitality training from the Ritz-Carlton, has played a huge role in developing a loyal customer-base. More than half of customers will leave a brand they love after a few bad experiences. Yet, in 2018 Apple’s customer loyalty hit a record high at 90% proving they’re service is truly the gold standard.
