Road signs help us in all kinds of ways. They let us know the speed limit, they give us directions, they alert us of hazards...and in all the years that they've been in existence, they've had to become quite flexible.
Some hazards are more rare than others, like a moose attack for instance. And so, correspondingly, some road signs are more rare and surprising than others. Some are so rare that you might not even know what they mean which, if you think about it, is counter to the purpose of a road sign in the first place!
This infographic has collected some of the rarest and most strange road signs out there, from all around the world. Some of them, you can probably guess what they mean.
