Many employers view this as a necessary skill for today’s modern workplace. You would also figure that the millennial generation would be the best age group on the workforce for being able to multitask between different forms of technology and staying focused at the task at hand. You might be surprised to see that there is new research that indicates that this is not the case.
The faculty at Bryan College researched into the impact of multitasking at work. They found some really interesting research and put together the findings in this useful infographic. Some of the more interesting information found is that millennial turnover is costing the U.S. economy over $30.5 billion dollars annually and that the lack of productivity due to multitasking equates to global losses of $450 billion dollars annually.
