"It is only a few years ago that driverless cars looked like that they may be something that appeared in only science fiction movies. It seems that recently there has been a massive uptake in the technology with new cars being tested all the time and only recently a bus driving itself on a 12 mile test drive.
Of course the fact that we can do something or that we have the technology to make something happen does not mean we SHOULD make it happen. We have seem from past failures that sometimes it can be the best decision to take the foot of the gas and look at what we have and what the best decision may be.
The Racshop recently looked how we have moved from sat navs, dash cams and other technologies towards autonomous driving and how the leap happened so quickly. They gathered together 6 thought leaders and experts to discuss their thoughts - where they though driverless technology was heading and whether it was a good or bad thing."
