The MRI scan error is a particularly horrific one, especially if you're a guy, the patient was sent for a MRI, before the MRI scan was carried out the staff overlooked the fact that the patient had a catheter in. When the MRI scanner was turned on the urinary catheter was then drawn out of him into the magnetic field, ouch. For this blunder, the patient received £12,500 in compensation after taking medical negligence legal action with Pryers.
