Moving to Canada is a popular threat these days with a hotly contested Presidential election coming up. It’s surprising that folks from both sides of the aisle in American politics want to move to Canada in protest if their candidate doesn’t win, but it may not be that simple. In order to emigrate to Canada you have to meet certain requirements, such as familial ties or work contributions. It’s not as easy as crossing the border and developing a love for poutine.
