Data from the RSPB revealed that the Blue Tit is the most common garden bird, but if you’re looking to attract rarer varieties such as the Eurasian Bullfinch or the Jackdaw, consider following these simple steps:

• Create a safe environment 

If you have cats or other local predators, birds will be unlikely to visit your property

• Water 

Supplying a clean source of fresh water to drink and bathe in helps preen and remove dirt from their feathers

• Nestboxes 

Adding next boxes increases the likelihood that a bird would choose your garden as a place to raise their young

• Food Source 

Using high quality wild bird food further increases your chances of regularly attracting a wide range of native birds.
