The best thing about the Internet is that it's a huge global community. If everyone is speaking the same language, it might even feel like you're just having a chat with some friends on your lawn. But the reality is that those people could be hundreds of miles away! Have you ever wondered what the demographics of the Internet look like? You might be surprised to find that while a large percentage of US citizens use the Internet, they're not the top dog when it comes to sheer numbers. That distinction belongs to China, even though only 44% of Chinese citizens use the Internet regularly. And if we take the whole population of the Internet – every regular user from around the world – 1 in 5 of them would be Chinese! That's twice the number of Americans or Indians.
