Most schools are fairly normal, the bell rings, you go to class, you open up your potion making textbook. Then it’s off to elf history class before it’s time to decent the mountain for five hours on your way home. Ok, we lied, not every school is the same. Hidden all over the world are some of the most bizarre and curious schools. From those that float on boats, to slightly more accessible ones buried deep in caves, weird schools come in all shapes and sizes.

Our personal favourite is Abo Elementary, which is found in the state of New Mexico. Kept safely underground in a nuclear bunker, this school is certainly big when it comes to health and safety. 800kg steel blast doors would certainly help reduce the risk of student truancy.
