There have been many changes to men’s style in the last few decades. From the beginnings of fashion rebellion in the 50s to the mixture of styles seen in current days, we've seen experimental looks in the 60s and 70s bringing colour and expression. New politics and music spawned fashion tribes in power suits in the 80s, countered by New Romantics in eyeliner and floppy hair. Later we saw the rise of lad culture, and the bright, baggy clothes favoured by the ravers became commonplace. Which decade do you think was the best for men's fashion? Are you a traditionalist, or do you, like the modern-day man, prefer to mix up influences from different times to create a progressive, blended look incorporating influences from different times? One thing is clear - individuality has reigned supreme through the ages, and men now take inspiration from wherever they want to create their own personal and distinct look.
