One wouldn’t expect many similarities between Earth and Pluto, yet recent shots from New Horizons have surprised and delighted scientists analyzing the incoming data. Not only do we get to see what sunset looks like on this far away dwarf planet, but closer inspection revealed glaciers of nitrogen that look a lot like those right here at home.
