Google's self-driving cars is a perfect example of futuristic technology successfully running on the roads. Not just Google, many giant car manufacturers such as Lexus, Tesla and Porsche are planning to launch their own self-driving cars.

Many researches have shown some significant figures in the favor of self-driving cars. But their lack of ability to react in real time situations is the reason why they are taking so long to get on the roads, globally.
