In the United States of America, debt is a part of every day life. During schooling, many students will use a credit card to pay for everyday expenses. This is because most students only have time for a part time or no job at all. Once they graduate, they are greeted with a huge mountain of student loans that were deferred until they can "afford" it. After this, the former student will start a family and purchase a house; adding a mortgage to the gargantuan collection of debt they already have. Now, we have an individual living the American Dream, is this what the American Dream is supposed to be? Debt that will follow them for the rest of their lives?
