The Goonies: great movie, or greatest movie ever? It's got everything: a group of misfit kids, a treasure map and long-lost pirate gold, and incompetent family of criminals, and the Truffle Shuffle. And, like every movie made in the 80s, there are valuable lessons about friendship and courage and how piano lessons will totally save your life someday. (There was also an octopus, but sadly that scene got cut.) It's no wonder that The Goonies become a cult classic! After 30 years, many of its young actors have become big-time movie stars, while others have found more success behind the camera and even the courtroom.
