When it comes to home technology and chores within the home there is one task which has spanned generations, Ironing. Ironing is over 2000 years old, from it early formation in China and the east it slowly evolved to the Viking and then the western Iron mongers. Ironing is full of history in the 1950s it was one of the centre points within feminism and the gender divide and still to this day play a pivotal role in interviews.
