Everybody knows what a diamond looks like, but what most people doesn't know is that most diamonds are very small and of a quality that isn't good enough for jewelry. But luckily there are exceptions. Sometimes miners find diamonds that are much bigger than normal. So big and of such quality that they outshine almost all the diamonds that have ever been found.

Here in this infographic you can see the 10 biggest diamonds ever found (based on size after the diamonds were cut). As you can see, the biggest of the diamonds are the size of eggs and thereby several hundred times bigger than normal diamonds.

The biggest cut diamond in the world is the Golden Jubilee which is an impressive 545,67 carats - or more than 500 times bigger than the 1 carat diamonds you see in everyday rings and necklaces. Most people think that the Cullinan I is the biggest cut diamond in the world, but as you can see it's only the 2nd biggest cut diamond. The Golden Jubilee is just 15 carats bigger.
