New Year celebration is still going on. 2014 was a year of excitement, surprises, lots of fun and challenges. Popular hash tags like ice bucket, Ebola, FIFA and Break the internet were trending throughout the year. Other than these popular search terms, people also searched for general things like “how to kiss”, “how to take selfie” and more. In 2014 search trends were ruled by variety of topics ranging from Ebola and mh370 becoming some of the most searched terms across the globe on Google. The next half of 2014 also saw other new trends like breaking the internet and Ice Bucket Challenge.

Kim Kardashian and Late Robin Williams topped the chart in celebrity section. Coming to tech trends, Iphone 6 really made a buzz this year. Some of the baffling trends of 2014 were the term “how” taking the first place in question queries.
