To make this infographic, we have found 49 interesting people that all eat very differently. Some of them eat almost nothing (like the 5:2 dieter with 500 calories per day) and others eat much more than we normally think it's possible to eat (several of the people we have found eat more than 10,000 calories per day! - that is more than 4 times the recommended amount of calories for men age 19-30). To make it easier to see just how much 10,000 calories are, we have compared various amounts of calories with how much various animals eat.
As you can see, you always eat more than a cat and you hopefully also eat more than a dog. And if you eat more than average, you might also eat more than a tiger, a horse... or start competing with a small elephant!
