Tons of wegawatts are produced by the behemoths of this sector as we are frantically trying to develop alternate and renewable energy sources which are relatively at an infant stage in the overall energy arena. As our countries are becoming more industrialized and our cities grow larger, the goal to achieve the necessary power generation lies in the hands of nuclear and hydro power stations. The world’s first power station was designed and built by Lord Armstrong at Cragside, England in 1868.
