While the CRM software has become all the rage in the recent years Gartner forecasts the growth of CRM market with a bang in the coming years. According to Gartner’s careful estimate the CRM market will be worth $36.4 billion by 2017. The software is already making it big since 15% of the organizations have replaced their on-premise customer service applications with SaaS solutions while 24% use SaaS to augment their existing solutions. Some of the research studies conducted over the past decade revealed that almost 25-60% CRM systems fail to make it to the benchmark. The proper implementation of CRM remains the main issue since 80% of the organizations using CRM failed to discover what this software has in store for them. A good CRM system promises to return $5.6 for each $1 investment. The size of the company is significantly important. A survey suggests that 91% companies with more than 11 employees use CRM whereas only 50% companies with less than 10 employees choose to benefit from this technology. A 15% boost in productivity was observed by the sales reps after they started using CRM mobile apps. As CRM software has gained much positive recognition in the market, 78% of the consumers were repelled after a poor service experience.
