He even dated Madonna. This initial success was short lived, however, in the years that followed he continued to make music that appealed to an underground music audience, which is what he preferred, but his mainstream fame had waned.

Then, something curious happened. A long time hobby of Robert Matthew Van Winkle (Ice's real name) sprung him back in front of a mainstream audience. This hobby was flipping houses.
