Knicket, an app discovery search engine, releases an infographic "The Mobile App Jungle" visually summarizing some interesting facts and numbers of the current mobile app industry. Some stats include that by 2017, it is expected that there will be more than 200 billion app downloads per year and 94.5% of all mobile apps will be free. This is significant as the average person spends 127 minutes in mobile apps per day.
