It is a common misconception among women that in order to lose fat you must do endless cardio, boring treadmill sessions, avoid fats, do light resistance training or have a small breakfast. The truth is that lowering calorie count and working out long and light does no lead anywhere but staleness and frustration. What you really need is readjusting the composition of your meals by eliminating sugars, lowering carbohydrates to a minimum and increasing healthy fats and protein consumption, along with plenty of vegetables and fibers. In addition, workouts should be brief and intense to kick off fat burning metabolism, exactly the opposite of light resistance or endless cardio sessions.
