Over the years the Honda Accord has become more modernized and luxurious, while maintaining an affordable buying price. Since its inception in the 1970s, there has been eight generations of the Honda Accord. Initially, the Honda Accord was a three-door hatchback with a four-cylinder engine. The Accord was transformed in later models, becoming first a two-door coupe and later a four-door sedan.
