Advancements in technology have provided today’s drivers with a seemingly never-ending list of potential distractions for drivers. Cell phones present a major problem for driving safety, not only by allowing people to communicate via text message and by talking on the phone, but also by providing a long list of applications and other pieces of entertainment, all of which enable distracted driving. Our youth needs to have a strong understanding of what is acceptable behavior behind the wheel, and hopefully the following statistics can help that realization come to fruition.
