Hollywood royalty gathered to celebrate the 86th Academy Awards. The throughout the evening, acceptance speeches, tributes and spontaneous selfies made us laugh, cry, smile, and of course, turn to our Twitter stream for the #Oscarparty. Twitter has announced that there were more than 14.7 Million Oscars-related Tweets during the Live show - from 8:30 to 12.00 E.T. The Most Tweeted-about nominees included Jennifer Lawrence and Brad Pitt, while Gravity and Oscar best Picture Winner 12 Years A Slave were among the films that got the most mentions on Twitter. By the end of the Oscars Ceremony, the celebrity selfie had been Retweeted more than two million times. There have been more than seven million Tweets using the hashtags #Oscar and #Oscars2014.
