A study found one in six cell phones contain fecal matter. Cell phones harbored up to 33,200 colony-forming units, which is the number of bacterial or fungal cells that can grow on a solid material per square inch. To put that into perspective, a public restroom toilet has 3,200 CFU. Headphones (an item 65 percent of polled Quill followers say they can’t live without) aren’t exactly the cleanest either.
